About Me
"Who is this person, you might wonder?"
Well, for some of you, this might not seem like a burning question. But, it's like a blogging tradition to kick things off with an 'About Me' page (according to my not-so-perfect research). So, without keeping you here too long, let me quickly introduce myself.
Call me JAI – that's short for JAI GANESH S – and it's what my friends prefer to call me.

My school days happened at Bala Bharathi Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Salem. I wasn't exactly a straight-A student, but I managed to get through my 10th grade with a solid pass. Then came my time at CSI Polytechnic College, Salem, where I did my Diploma. With a whole lot of love and encouragement from my teachers, I was able to score a DISTINCTION WITH HONORS. Those teachers? They were like my second parents, imparting not just education but also the values that make us better people. That's how I found myself actively participating in NSS activities like Blood Donation drives, Tree Planting, and supporting education for underprivileged kids.
Off I went to DMI College of Engineering for my Undergraduate studies. This chapter was a real turning point. Thanks to my teachers and buddies, I got to discover my talents and was nudged towards a career in Teaching. Then, I carried on to Sona College of Technology, Salem, for my master's degree in communication systems. Guess what? First Class with Distinction, and a handful of awards for acing exams and delivering great paper presentations.
My journey as a teacher began at Chennai Institute of Technology, where I took my first steps into the classroom. Boy, did that make me feel proud! It's heartwarming to say that I've got quite an attentive audience and some really positive feedback.
But then, I noticed something. The gap between the academic world and the industry was growing fast. So, I dived into industry-oriented training, including stints at KUKA Robotics in Germany and KPIT Pune. I even stepped up as the Coordinator for the Center of Excellence in Industrial Robotics and Automotive Electronics. I've published quite a bit and trained numerous students to meet industry demands.
To keep my teaching game strong, I joined various training sessions and Faculty development programs, hosted by industries and IITs. My thirst for knowledge led me to pursue a Ph.D., and right now, I'm focused on beefing up data communication security.
Seeing my students thrive and hearing their positive feedback keeps me fired up. It pushes me to work harder and smarter for the betterment of the student community.
